Meet Sara Miller!
Sara is a creative spirit with a passion for travel and design. She holds a degree in Hospitality Management from UMass and a Marketing degree from Mira Costa College.
​Her knack for organization and attention to detail have been key to her success in the event industry, where she has coordinated and managed corporate roadshows, conferences, and contributed to high-end fashion events and award shows. More recently, Sara has expanded into property management and real estate, where she continues to thrive on challenges, learn constantly, and deliver exceptional customer service.

When she’s not planning the next big adventure, you’ll find Sara immersed in creative projects or enjoying the outdoors with her husband and their two dogs.

Meet Danielle Nelson!
In a word, Danielle is scrappy.
With experience in many industries - over 15 years in nonprofit fundraising and consulting, and over five years in varied freelance roles, she’s learned to pivot, ask questions and pick up the phone.
Her professional education includes a degree from Macalester College, where the most important thing she learned was to be a more keen critical thinker, and an MBA from Hamline University, with a focus in conflict resolution.
Her superpowers include her adaptability, her ease working with people from all walks of life, her quick thinking and her willingness to get her hands dirty.
Danielle enjoys sailing, #vanlife, traveling the world with her dogs (and hubby!) and reading prize-winning fiction. She is an Airbnb Superhost, a death doula and a real estate investor.
Our Background Story
Sara and Danielle met while freelancing for the same client and quickly realized we made a dynamic team. Together, we founded a property management company, successfully managing multiple properties with over 70 units. Sara’s exceptional organization, top-notch customer service, creativity, and calm demeanor, combined with Danielle’s decisiveness, drive, and analytical skills, created a synergy that propelled their success.

When the project concluded, we knew we wanted to continue working together. That’s when we created SkillBox Collective—a solutions-driven, creative community of expert generalists. Our vision is to be the go-to team for innovative solutions, delivering quality and integrity in everything they do.
